After deciding to work with reviving something classic situated in Leeds, I thought it would be appropriate to draw inspiration for ornaments from classic buildings in Leeds. I spent the day walking around the centre looking at patterns and ornaments on some of the buildings. Below are some of the results.
I really like the tiles shown below, as they not only work on their own, but also work well as a pattern. They also don't seem too detailed to replicate in a 2D, simplistic form.

These semi-circle designs could be interesting to work with, possibly as a form of divider.
The corner pieces in the doorway below could work well as frames.
The flower near the bottom of the photo seems to be similar to the first image I've looked at. I intend on adding a simplistic flower ornament.
The circlular designs work well within the framing of the windows, which gives me more ideas for frames.

Although the design below is very complex, I feel that the bottom squared ornaments of the door could be recrreated in a more simplistic form.
These crescent shaped tiles could work well as either a pattern or divider.
